Gardening has probably been the area of the self-sufficiency dream that EmmCee and I started with. Inspired first by Hugh Fearnley Whittingstalls “Escape to River Cottage” and later by John Seymour “Complete Book of Self Sufficiency” we have tried to use our gardens to bring us the joy of home grown food. Starting first in Oxfordshire, the Kent and hopefully soon here in Wales. We have tried to cultivate the land and grow those crops that are by turns, fun, easy or just plain delicious.
