As part of our chase after the Good Life we’ve always been interested in raising of keeping whatever animals were feasible. Our ambitions have always been limited by our lack of smallholding but it hasn’t stoppped us taking an interest where appropriate.
We kept cats, or have they kept us, raised chickens for eggs and meat and been active beekeeepers. We’ve attended pig keeping courses, pig butchering courses, livestock auctions and many an annual Open Farm Sunday. And whilst we may not have met all our ambitions yet we’ll continue trying to move in that direction and provide updates on animal related things going on or things we’ve already completed.
